Short Summary:
Formo Foods is seeking a motivated Research Associate to join the Protein Analytics team in Frankfurt am Main. The role focuses on the physicochemical and functional characterization of proteins and protein powders, directly impacting the optimization of fermentation-derived proteins for food applications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and develop analytical methods for protein powders.
- Execute physicochemical and functional tests (e.g., color, dispersibility, viscosity).
- Contribute to method optimization and support R&D projects.
- Document results, evaluate data, and report findings.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments.
Requirement:
- Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
- Laboratory experience in food chemistry or technology.
- Knowledge of analytical method development and validation.
- Experience with HPLC-UV analysis and GC-MS is a plus.
- Very good English skills; German is a plus.
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
