Short Summary:
At Formlabs, we’re building tools that enable anyone to bring their ideas to life, from innovative products to life-saving medical devices. We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to architect, prototype, and design hardware systems for our next-generation 3D printers.

Responsibilities:
- Push the capabilities of 3D printing by creating innovative solutions to challenging problems
- Be a technical leader within a group of mechanical, systems, and electrical engineers
- Prototype new systems, mechanisms, test materials, and research 3D printing challenges
- Architect subsystems of a 3D printer for performance, manufacturability, and reliability
- Engineer high-performance 3D printers

Requirement:
- Strong portfolio of previous work with a background in electro-mechanical systems
- 5+ years industry experience
- Familiar with thermal systems, optical systems, sensor design, controllers, structures, and algorithms
- Experience with the full product development cycle
