Sales Manager (m/f/d) for the Dutch market

• You own sales for the Netherlands and turn our existing success there into a structured, repeatable sales process, from first contact and demo to proposal and signing.
• Within your first months, you sign your first new customers in the Dutch market.
• Building on our strong base with Dutch bakeries, you decide which segments and accounts to target next (bakery, grocery retail, food service), test what works and scale it.
• You build your own pipeline through outbound, trade fairs, marketing leads and your network, and manage it in HubSpot.
• You speak with managing directors, heads of production and supply-chain leads, and make AI forecasting simple and concrete for them.
• You negotiate proposals and contracts and bring deals to a close.
• You bring feedback from the Dutch market to our sales, marketing and product teams.

What you need to bring

• At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales in which you closed deals yourself.
• Dutch at native-speaker level (C2): you negotiate and write confidently at management level.
• English at C1 level: you work with our team in English every day.
• You get things moving yourself: you take ownership of your targets, improve how things are done and see them through.
• Experience selling software or SaaS is a clear advantage.

Nice to have

• German skills.

• Knowledge of the Dutch food sector (bakery, grocery retail, food service) and contacts there.

We are a tech start-up from Cologne that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to reduce food waste along the supply chain. Our AI analyzes historical sales data from a wide range of sectors - from bakeries to supermarkets and restaurants - and combines this with external influencing factors such as weather, public holidays and special location features. This results in precise, up-to-date forecasts for production and orders, which can be integrated fully automatically into existing systems. This not only makes planning more efficient, but also optimizes the use of goods - so that less food ends up in the garbage can.
