Senior Sales Director, Ireland Education
The Opportunity
As Sales Director, Ireland Education, you will lead Flywire's market development and senior client relationships across the Irish Higher Education market. This is a senior, market facing commercial leadership opportunity for a proven enterprise seller with deep knowledge of Irish Higher Education and public procurement. You will work alongside UK and EMEA commercial leadership, who lead pricing, commercial terms and final deal strategy.
Positioning Flywire with the Education Procurement Service (EPS) is central to this role, so direct experience, exposure or knowledge of EPS frameworks and tender processes is essential.
You will report to the Vice President, Education, UK and Ireland. The legal employer for this Ireland based role may be Flywire or an authorised employer of record.
What You Will Do
Lead Ireland Market Development
- Lead market development and account strategy for Irish Higher Education within the territory plan agreed with UK and Ireland Education leadership, prioritising the institutions with the greatest potential.
- Lead market engagement, discovery, opportunity shaping and technical scoping. Progress opportunities day to day, bringing in the UK commercial lead who will lead all pricing, commercial terms and negotiation discussions with the client.
- Build and maintain a high quality pipeline with accurate forecasts and disciplined Salesforce hygiene, using MEDDPICC or an equivalent methodology.
Build Senior Relationships
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance, IT, Registry, International Admissions and Student Services, as well as procurement teams.
- Develop value propositions and executive business cases that position Flywire around outcomes such as payer adoption, reconciliation, cash flow and student experience.
- Partner with Client Success to grow adoption and retention while acting as the voice of the Irish customer internally.
Lead Engagement with EPS and Public Procurement
- Lead Flywire's engagement with the Education Procurement Service, building the relationships and market insight needed to position Flywire for future EPS frameworks and tenders.
- Apply a strong working knowledge of wider Irish public procurement, including eTenders and institutional framework agreements, with all pre tender engagement carried out in line with Irish and EU rules.
- Contribute market knowledge and client insight to tender, RFP and framework responses, which are owned, prepared and submitted by Flywire's UK team.
Commercial Governance
- Shape deal strategy with client and market insight, with final deal strategy, pricing, commercial terms and negotiation led by the UK commercial lead in line with Flywire's approval matrix.
- Work within Flywire's approval framework, with contracts, commitments and any non standard terms approved and executed by authorised Flywire representatives.
Here’s What We’re Looking For
