Talent Partner

Title: Talent Partner Location: Canada, Remote

Who we are

At Fluxon, we believe that how you build matters as much as what you build. We help businesses navigate their most important technology decisions with confidence, and take responsibility for seeing them through. Founded by ex-Googlers and startup veterans, we’re proud to partner with teams behind some of the most ambitious products, including Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Walmart and Stripe.

Our work spans strategy, design, and engineering — often in complex, AI-driven environments — where clarity, speed and quality are the standard. We use AI intentionally, applying it only where it adds real value and expands what’s possible. Care shapes everything we do.

Inside Fluxon, you’ll find a global, remote-first team of experienced builders, who are curious, kind and serious about their craft. We’re building a place where people can take ownership, solve problems that matter and do work they’re proud to stand behind. If you want to do your best work alongside people who care as much as you do, you’ll feel at home here.

Our HQ is in San Francisco, but this position can be remote from anywhere in Canada

About the Role

We’re hiring a Talent Partner to be the second member of our Americas Talent team, reporting to our Lead Talent Partner. You’ll join a team spread across AMER, EMEA and APAC. As we grow past 300 people, you’ll have real room to shape how we hire.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. Fluxon runs on trust and autonomy. Nobody will hand you a playbook, but you’ll have the support to write a better one. You should apply if you see every candidate interaction as a reflection of the company, and if you’d rather fix a broken process than work around it.

What you’ll do

• Partner with Lead Talent Partners to design and manage the full candidate journey for evergreen and specialist roles across engineering, product, design and operations, from first outreach to signed offer.
• Run intro calls and act as each candidate’s main point of contact, keeping them informed, prepared and respected at every stage.
• Coordinate interview loops, and work closely with hiring managers and interviewers so processes keep moving and feedback stays timely.
• Run outbound: find passive candidates, write outreach people actually answer, and test what works.
• Share market insights and flag challenges.
• Use AI tools deliberately to source smarter and move faster, which frees up your time for the human parts of recruiting.
• Keep our ATS clean and current so we can trust our data.
• Share knowledge, support teammates, and suggest improvements to the Talent team’s processes.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of recruiting experience with real exposure to technical hiring, whether agency, in-house or both.
• A high bar for candidate experience, meaning fast replies, clear communication, and honesty even when the answer is no.
• The organization to juggle multiples roles, candidates and calendars without dropping threads.
• You can push back on a hiring manager and turn down a candidate, and both still trust you afterward.
• Comfort with cold outreach. You don’t mind writing to strangers, and silence doesn’t put you off.
• AI tools are already part of how you work, and you’re curious about how to use them better.
• A problem-solving instinct: when something’s broken, you dig in, propose a fix and follow through.
• Nice to have: Experience with Greenhouse or Ashby; a startup or consultancy background

The compensation range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 CAD annually. We consider your skills and experience and what similar roles pay at companies similar to us when determining your offer.

What we offer

• Remote work with flexible hours and a budget to set up your work space
• Localized healthcare coverage designed to support you and your family’s well-being
• Flexible paid time off with a 3-week minimum (not including holidays) to support your well-being
• Company-wide "no internal meetings" Fridays to help you focus on deep, uninterrupted work
• Professional growth budget for any form of self-improvement: specialized technical training, conferences, certifications or even foreign language courses
• Monthly health & wellness allowance to spend on whatever keeps you physically and mentally at your best
• Annual off-sites where we gather in person to build meaningful connections with your fellow Fluxonians
• Profit-sharing program for you to benefit directly from our collective growth and success
• Paid sabbatical program to reset, recharge, and gain a fresh perspective
• A competitive salary that reflects your expertise and experience
