About Flowdesk
At Flowdesk, we are building the infrastructure powering the next era of global finance. As a full-service digital asset trading and technology firm, we provide liquidity solutions, OTC trading, and market infrastructure that connect digital assets to global markets with institutional-grade precision, transparency, and scale. Flowdesk combines expertise from traditional finance, algorithmic trading, and blockchain technology to deliver always-on trading capabilities across the digital asset ecosystem.
Founded in 2020, we have grown into a global team supporting institutions, exchanges, and token issuers worldwide as the financial system evolves toward tokenized markets.
Why join Flowdesk? You'll be joining a company operating at the intersection of finance, technology, and crypto - solving complex market problems, building critical infrastructure, and helping shape how digital assets move globally. We move fast, think long term, and work with a strong ownership mindset across engineering, trading, product, operations, and business teams.
Role Description
We are a cloud-native crypto market-making firm operating across regulated jurisdictions. Our Secure Engineering team designs, builds, and owns the platforms and configuration that the wider IT estate runs on, security-first. It is a small team: what you build, the rest of IT operates.
You will work as part of the secure engineering team, configuring and maintaining IT systems across the organisation - identity, endpoint, and SaaS platforms - while also owning vendor and contract management for the tools the team relies on. It suits someone who can run projects end to end with minimal input from senior management, while keeping IT Operations and the rest of the team in the loop.

• Configure and maintain IT systems across the organisation, working within the team's core platforms (Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Cloudflare) as part of the secure engineering team
• Source and evaluate new tooling: run vendor assessments, manage procurement, and bring in what the business needs
• Own the lifecycle of existing vendor contracts: renewal dates, terms, and costs kept current, and renegotiation opportunities flagged before they're missed
• Act as the main point of contact for vendor account and contract matters
• Work with IT Operations to turn their operational needs into system configuration and tooling decisions
• Run your own projects with a good degree of autonomy, keeping senior management informed and looping them in where their input adds value
• Take part in an IT on-call rota
• Provide support to IT Operations as needed

Requirements
Must Have

• 7+ years' experience in IT engineering or a similar technical role, ideally in SaaS-heavy, regulated environments
• Working knowledge of modern IT stacks in regulated environments, particularly SaaS, identity, and endpoint platforms
• Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts: evaluation, procurement, renewal, and negotiation
• Able to work autonomously and see projects through with minimal senior management input, while remaining collaborative with the wider team
• Comfortable in a small, high-ownership team
