Short Summary:
The role of the Operations Associate is critical in making Flexport’s mission to simplify global trade a reality. You will support logistics goals for clients and partners, ensuring efficient shipment movement and operational improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Be the “front line” in ensuring the highest standard of Flexport quality: shipments move on-time and exceptions are handled appropriately
- Be responsible for ensuring your work satisfies internal KPIs and SLAs that demonstrate quality delivery
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Solve client issues quickly and ensure smooth operations at origin and destination and escalate issues as needed
- Seamlessly coordinate day-to-day logistics operations with internal and external partners
- Execute the end-to-end movement of freight shipments within a regional network (both imports and exports)
Requirement:
- BA/BS Degree or completed professional training as forwarding agent
- 1-2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, Air carrier operations (Air freight knowledge is a plus)
- Fluent in French and English (other European languages are a plus)
- Effective time management and attention to detail
- Problem-solving capabilities and a “compliance first” attitude
