Lead Marketing Analyst
Welcome to Fi.
We’re a passionate team from Square, Google, Oura, Peloton, Uber, and more working to transform the human-pet relationship. Our mission? Develop cutting-edge technology to revolutionize what it means to be a pet parent. The pet industry remains firmly stuck in the past and we are here to change that. Fi is leveraging our team's talent and expertise to improve the lives of millions of pets in the U.S. Real-time location tracking, activity, sleep and behavior monitoring – and that's just the beginning.
The most exciting aspect of our work? Bridging the communication gap between pets and humans. Imagine a world where everyone knows how their pet feels in real time and how to keep their best friend in good shape. That's the future we're building at Fi.
If you're someone who thrives in innovative, collaborative work environments and feels strongly about helping pets live longer, better lives, Fi could be the perfect fit. Join us in our pursuit of the “impossible,” or as we call it here “let me find a way,” to redefine the future of pet ownership together.
Fi is looking for a Lead Marketing Analyst!
Fi is looking for a Lead Marketing Analyst to take ownership over our entire marketing's analytical stack, from the daily numbers the team runs on to the measurement work that decides where the budget goes next. You'll be the first call for "what happened" and the person who answers the harder "why" and "what if." You'll build on the data team's shared warehouse models and definitions so marketing reporting reconciles to a single source of truth.
- Own marketing's source of truth dashboards: CAC vs. goal by product and channel, ecommerce funnel and conversion (including PDP and checkout drop off), lifecycle and retention, daily and weekly pacing
- Measure paid media performance across every channel, Meta, Google, Amazon, TV, podcast, influencer, tracking spend efficiency, ROAS, and channel level contribution to growth
- Design and run incrementality tests, geo holdouts, PSA tests, conversion lift studies, to determine the true causal impact of media spend
- Build and maintain our media mix model to inform budget allocation, and continuously improve measurement methodology as the channel mix evolves
- Own lifecycle and retention measurement, including segmentation, cohort analysis, and email/SMS holdout testing
- Own Amazon and marketplace analytics alongside DTC (traffic, conversion, CAC by SKU and product line) so performance is measured consistently across channels
- Partner with Growth and Product on experimentation: design, sample size and power calculations, instrumentation, and results readouts
- Partner with Finance on spend forecasting, budget pacing, and tying media performance to membership economics and broader P&L
- Turn analysis into clear recommendations for marketing and execs, flagging anomalies or opportunities before anyone has to ask
- 5+ years in marketing analytics, media analytics, growth analytics, or a related quantitative role, with exposure to both paid social and paid search
- Strong SQL and real comfort working with large, messy datasets. This is non-negotiable
- Hands-on experience with a modern cloud warehouse (Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift) and a BI/dashboarding tool
- Experience with causal inference methods, incrementality tests, media mix models, geo experiments, synthetic control, or clear aptitude for them
- Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads/Google Analytics
- A skeptical, first-principles approach to measurement and the confidence to challenge platform-reported metrics when the data doesn't hold up
- Excellent communication skills. You can explain a number or a statistical trade-off clearly to non-technical stakeholders and execs
- Comfortable being the go-to person for both quick-turnaround requests and long-running projects.
- There's no separate analyst to hand routine reporting to
- Python or R for statistical analysis is a plus
- Experience with attribution/incrementality vendors like Northbeam or Haus, and the judgment to reconcile vendor numbers against warehouse truth
- A subscription or DTC hardware background, with an understanding of membership economics alongside first-order revenue
- Time to Recharge: Enjoy flexible PTO to take the breaks you need.
- Top-Notch Health Coverage: We’ve got your back (and teeth and eyes) with full medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Wellness Perks: Free access to One Medical, Kindbody, and Talkspace to keep you feeling your best.
- Dog-Friendly Office: Bring your pup to work — they’re part of the team, too.
- Give Back to the Pups: Make tails wag with a $500 annual donation to a dog charity of your choice through our BarkBack Program.
- Free Fi Membership: Your furry best friend(s) get all the benefits of a Fi collar, on us!
- Love for Friends + Family: Share the Fi magic with loved ones through our gifting program.
