Short Summary:
We are looking for an experienced analytics leader to manage our Fraud, Payments & Operations Analytics team, guiding analysts to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders across the company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of analysts focused on fraud, payments, and operational performance.
- Own a portfolio of complex analyses, managing timelines and deliverables.
- Apply advanced analytics techniques to identify trends and insights.
- Manage day-to-day work for direct reports, ensuring alignment with departmental priorities.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of team output, reviewing analyses and models.
- Provide management, coaching, and professional development to analysts.
- Shape team strategy and identify process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop analytics solutions.
- Partner with data engineering and governance teams to ensure data quality.
Requirement:
- 5+ years' experience in an analytics role preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major or relevant experience.
- 1+ years managing and coaching analysts or data professionals.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel; Python or R preferred.
- Experience with Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and BI visualization tools.
- Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical insights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
- Prior experience in fraud, payments, or financial risk roles is a plus.
