Short Summary:
FalconX is seeking a Compliance Associate, Markets Surveillance to join our Compliance team, focusing on maintaining the integrity of our trading platform and digital asset markets. This role involves investigating trade surveillance alerts, assisting with token and asset due diligence, and contributing to the development of our surveillance program.

Responsibilities:
- Independently review, investigate, and disposition trade surveillance alerts across digital asset markets.
- Analyze trading activity to identify manipulative patterns and suspicious trading schemes.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on tokens and digital assets prior to onboarding.
- Continuously assess listed assets for material changes and escalate findings.
- Contribute to internal frameworks for assessing asset-level manipulation risk.
- Leverage AI-assisted surveillance tooling to investigate alerts and improve accuracy.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market abuse regulations across jurisdictions.
- Assist in gathering investigation documentation for audits and regulatory examinations.
- Help compile regular reports on alert volumes and investigation metrics.

Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Criminology, Law, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of direct experience in trade surveillance or market abuse investigations.
- Experience with surveillance platforms and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
