Senior Developer / Tech Lead (.NET / Azure) - Freelance (M/F/D)

We are looking for an experienced freelance Senior Developer / Tech Lead. You will work on challenging projects with the latest technologies and play a key role in developing and optimising software products.

Your missions :

• Set the technical bar: safeguard code quality, perform code reviews and coach developers
• Translate business and domain questions into clear technical analyses and specifications
• Contribute to the development of a scalable business platform on .NET and Azure
• Work AI-native: agents write, test and refactor code, and you safeguard the architecture, security and quality of what they produce

Must-have knowledge and experience :

• Azure: experience with Azure services and cloud-based infrastructures
• .NET: in-depth knowledge and experience developing applications
• DevOps, Kubernetes & Docker: CI/CD pipelines, containerisation and implementing a DevOps culture
• Angular: front-end development
• AI coding tools: experience with tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot on real projects, and the ability to critically assess their output
• Tech lead: code reviews, technical coaching and technical analysis
• Fluency in DUTCH & ENGLISH 

Nice to have :

• Marten (event sourcing and document-oriented data in .NET)
• GraphQL (API design and optimisation)
• PostgreSQL (document databases and SQL)
• RabbitMQ & MassTransit (message-based systems, event-driven architecture)
• Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Elasticsearch (search and data analysis)
• Certifications: AZ-204 and AZ-400 are a plus
