Short Summary:
We currently have a vacancy for a Business Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying business needs and determining solutions to business problems
- Create Vision and Business Case documents or contribute in developing Vision and Business Case documents
- Functional requirements and business cases analysis
- Create and maintain documentation of business requirements and solutions using appropriate documentation standards
- Provide input for the software development process
- Modelling business processes
- Requirements/needs management and tracking
- Risk analysis
Requirement:
- University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years
- Experience in product scope definition, requirements elaboration, experience in negotiation with actors from the business and IT community, as well as technical knowledge in specific areas (e.g. UML modelling)
- Experience with large organisation administrative business processes
- Experience with iterative project management methodologies (e.g. Agile)
- Excellent knowledge of business analysis, modelling, tools and techniques (use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity relationship model etc)
- Ability to give business and technical presentations
- Excellent command of the English language
