Short Summary:
Ethos is seeking a Video Production Lead to manage video output across various platforms. This role involves overseeing production operations, coordinating projects, and ensuring timely delivery of assets.
Responsibilities:
- Own video production projects end to end, managing scope, budget, and schedule from brief through final delivery
- Lead pre-production: casting, locations, crew, permits, and logistics
- Oversee high-volume asset versioning and resizing across formats and channels
- Run compliance reviews on creative assets before delivery
- Partner with editors, motion designers, and post-production vendors
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders throughout a project
- Manage relationships with outside production vendors, freelancers, and agencies
- Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts and statements of work
- Source and vet new production partners, agencies, and freelancers
- Track usage rights and licensing terms for talent
- Juggle multiple concurrent projects and identify additional resourcing needs
- Spot opportunities to make the production process faster and more efficient
- Support creative operations in daily tasks
Requirement:
- 8+ years of experience in video production
- Experience negotiating and managing vendor/production contracts
- An existing network of production partners, agencies, and freelancers
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and moving fast without sacrificing quality
- Working knowledge of the production and post-production process
- Excellent communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and genuine curiosity about video performance
- Experience utilizing AI tools and building AI workflows
- Operations and process-minded
