Director of Communications & Public Relations

We are seeking a Director of Communications & Public Relations to build and lead our communications function from the ground up. This is a high-impact, strategic role responsible for shaping Envoy Global's brand narrative and positioning our affiliated attorneys as trusted, market-facing thought leaders. The Director of Communications and Public Relations will develop and execute a comprehensive communications and PR strategy focused on key attorneys from our affiliate law firm CIP PC, driving their presence across media, digital platforms, speaking engagements, and industry channels. This role will partner closely with marketing, sales leadership, and executive stakeholders to amplify our differentiated story and strengthen our position in the market.
This role is critical to strengthening our market position by elevating the voices of our affiliate legal experts—one of our most important differentiators. You will play a key role in shaping how our brand is perceived globally and driving awareness, credibility, and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive PR and communications strategy aligned to business goals
- Elevate five market-facing attorneys as industry thought leaders through messaging and visibility plans
- Establish and manage relationships with media outlets and industry publications
- Drive thought leadership content including articles, speaking engagements, and social presence
- Translate complex legal topics into compelling narratives
- Prepare and coach attorneys for media and public engagement
- Partner with marketing to expand digital and online presence
- Define and track success metrics across media and brand awareness
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and leadership on go-to-market alignment
What You May Need to be Successful:
- 8–12+ years of experience in PR, communications, or corporate affairs
- Proven track record building or scaling PR/communications programs
- Experience in professional services, legal, or regulated industries preferred
- Strong media relationships and success securing coverage
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills
- Experience coaching executives or subject matter experts
- Ability to operate strategically and execute hands-on
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder influence
Annual Base Salary Range: $145,000-$175,000
