Short Summary:
The Senior Reviewer, Code & Web Templates is responsible for reviewing, assessing, and maintaining quality standards across Envato’s code and web template categories. This role ensures submissions meet technical, usability, security, originality, documentation, and commercial-quality expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Review and assess submissions across all code and web template categories.
- Apply review criteria consistently across all asset types.
- Identify and reject submissions that do not meet marketplace standards.
- Provide clear, objective, and constructive review outcomes.
- Identify complex or high-risk submissions and escalate them.
- Support calibration activities to ensure consistency in review standards.
- Contribute to the development of review documentation and category standards.
- Partner with Content Operations leaders to support the evolution of the review function.
Requirement:
- Strong full-stack development background with practical experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress themes and plugins.
- Strong understanding of WordPress ecosystems and clean code practices.
- Ability to identify common technical risks and maintain strong quality standards.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent or strong professional proficiency in English.
