About ERP and the Project

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is a tribally led federal energy-resilience contractor building the contingent team for the USAG Ansbach - Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid in Bavaria, Germany. The 730-day project integrates two 1 MW diesel generators, 2 MW / 4 MWh battery energy storage, photovoltaic generation, 20 kV medium-voltage distribution, fuel systems, protection, SCADA/microgrid controls, fiber communications, an underground interconnection corridor and full testing, training and commissioning.

Position Summary

Install, terminate, label, adjust and document the fire-alarm system under qualified supervision.

What You Will Do

• Install and terminate approved devices, circuits, panels, interfaces and pathways.
• Follow approved drawings, manufacturer instructions, DIN/VDE requirements, QC checkpoints and safety controls.
• Maintain accurate labels, continuity/verification records, redlines and deficiency corrections.
• Support functional testing, training and closeout.

Minimum Qualifications

• Technician track: at least four years of relevant installation/termination experience and manufacturer-specific training.
• Installer track: at least two years assisting fire-alarm installation, manufacturer-specific training, and qualified-electrician status or direct supervision by one.
• Lawful Germany work authorization and installation access.
• German-language capability and Germany-local credential/practice knowledge appropriate to the duties; English required for Government-facing functions.

Preferred Qualifications

DIN VDE 0105-100 qualified electrician; DIN 14675/VDE 0833 experience; bilingual field capability.

Germany Work Authorization, Location and Access

• Candidate must possess unrestricted EU/EEA/Swiss labor-market access or other valid German work authorization before starting.
• Lawful Germany work authorization/status and installation access are required before in-country duties.
• Germany-qualified fire-alarm subcontract work package.
• No field work may begin until required Government personnel approval, installation access/badging, safety orientation, role designation/appointment, system/data permissions and work-front release are complete.

Field, Travel and Employment Conditions

• Work arrangement: FULL-TIME ONSITE - remote work is incidental; minimum presence: Onsite only during assigned installation and termination work.
• Project-based and contingent upon award/NTP, funding, final staffing authorization, qualification verification, Government approval where applicable, employer-of-record completion and installation access.
• Must support approved work hours, outages, testing windows, alternate shifts, weekends or German holidays when the schedule and lawful working-time controls require.
• Must comply with ERP/prime direction, EM 385-1-1, German safety and labor requirements, quality controls, CUI/FCI and photography/device restrictions, accurate timekeeping and project conduct rules.
