Embedded Motion Control Engineer (Junior / Medior)

Hybrid Work: Minimum 3 days onsite, max. 2 days working from home

Salary: Maximum €75,000 gross per year (depending on knowledge and experience)

About the Position

Are you a driven engineer with a passion for precision technology, mechatronics, and embedded software? For a prominent player in the high-tech industry (semiconductor & advanced machinery), we are looking for an Embedded Motion Control Engineer .

In this role, you will be involved in developing, implementing, testing, and verifying embedded control software that precisely controls the movement of advanced machinery and motors .

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and test embedded control software for motion control systems .

• Work on system identification, control design (PID), and deploying controllers on embedded motion control platforms .

• Program in C/C++ (including bare-metal programming and real-time systems/RTOS) .

• Model and simulate control systems using MATLAB and Simulink .

• Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team of mechatronics and software experts.

Who We Are Looking For

• Education: A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Embedded Software, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, Robotics, or a related field .

• Experience: Approximately 1 to 3+ years of relevant experience in embedded software and motion control .

• Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ and bare-metal programming .

  • Solid understanding of control theory, motion control, servo/motor control, and PID controllers .

  • Experience with MATLAB / Simulink for modeling and simulation .

  • Familiarity with RTOS and controller testing & verification is a plus .

• Personality: Analytical, pragmatic, and driven to solve complex technological challenges.
