About eMed
The GLP-1 era didn't create America's metabolic crisis. It just made it impossible to look away. Roughly 90% of U.S. healthcare spending goes to chronic disease that begins in metabolism, and for decades the system's answer was to wait for a massive health issue, then send the bill. eMed was built to get there first.
We are at the epicenter of healthcare transformation as an AI enabled platform. We put diagnostic-grade blood testing on people's kitchen tables, clinicians on their screens in minutes, and real biomarkers at the center of every decision.
Today we offer GLP-1 management, where employers facing double-digit cost increases need programs that actually work. That's where we're winning. It is not where we stop. Cardiometabolic risk gets caught years before it becomes a claim that we're building. If you've spent your career watching healthcare treat consequences, come help us treat causes.
About the Role
We're hiring three Senior Vice Presidents of Sales — one each for the East, West, and Central regions — to lead commercial execution across their territory.
Each SVP sits in-market and oversees the sales organization in that region: VPs of Sales and Account Directors. This role carries a regional quota. You own team performance — coaching, forecasting, deal strategy, and raising the bar for how the region hunts and wins — and you step into deals to help close when needed.
You report to the EVP of Sales and partner closely with Operations, Product, Clinical, Marketing, and Client Success.
Who You'll Work With
- Reports to the EVP, Sales and is a key member of the commercial leadership team.
- Leads and coaches VPs of Sales and Account Directors in the assigned region.
- Partners with Ops, Marketing, Product, Clinical, and Client Success on go-to-market, enablement, and clean handoffs of closed accounts.
- Builds senior relationships with brokers, consultants, and employer decision-makers across the region.
What You'll Do
Regional leadership & results
- Own regional commercial outcomes through the team — pipeline health, conversion, deal velocity, and forecast accuracy for East, West, or Central — without carrying a personal quota.
- Jump into complex or strategic deals to help VPs and Account Directors close: strategy, executive sponsor conversations, negotiations, and unblockers.
- Build a clear, data-driven ROI story (cost trend, productivity, population health outcomes) that the team can use with CHROs and CFOs on multi-year agreements.
Team leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the region's VPs and Account Directors; set clear quotas, activity standards, and a rigorous pipeline review cadence for the team.
- Hire and ramp additional regional sellers as the territory scales, in partnership with Talent Acquisition and the EVP of Sales.
- Run regional sales meetings, deal reviews, and win/loss learnings; hold the team accountable to hunter behaviors and quota attainment.
Broker, consultant, and employer motion
- Deepen relationships with national and regional benefits brokers and consulting firms who shape what employers buy in your territory.
- Support adoption of eMed's solutions into broker and consultant evaluations and employer benefits programs.
- Guide or support contract negotiations, partnership agreements, and joint go-to-market initiatives with key channel partners as needed.
Market and cross-functional leadership
- Stay close to competitive and market dynamics in your region and feed insight back to the EVP of Sales, Product, and Marketing.
- Represent eMed at regional industry events, broker forums, and employer conferences.
- Ensure closed accounts hand off cleanly to Client Success with clear expectations and context.
What You Have
- Proven track record in employee benefits leading multi-level sales teams (e.g., VPs, directors, AEs/ADs) with clear coaching, forecasting, and performance management.
- Credibility as a sales leader who can help close — strong executive presence in late-stage deals without needing the personal book.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits, employer healthcare buying, and broker-/consultant-driven sales models.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship skills with C-suite and senior broker partners.
- Ability to work independently in-market, think strategically, and drive team results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and business growth.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required
- 12+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, with 5+ years leading sales teams (VP/Director/SVP-level preferred).
- Demonstrated success selling into or alongside self-insured employers, benefits brokers/consultants, health plans, or PBMs — ideally in healthcare, digital health, benefits, or healthtech.
- Track record of building and leading teams that hit or exceed quota in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Based in (or willing to relocate to) the assigned East, West, or Central region, with comfort traveling within the territory.
- Existing senior relationships with brokers, consultants, and/or large employers in the region is a strong plus.
