Summary: This role focuses on developing and maintaining software applications to support scientists in their drug discovery processes. The primary goal is to enhance the registration and testing of drug candidates through reliable software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and improve business-critical full stack applications.
Modernise legacy applications and migrate solutions to current .
NET versions.
Work across application layers, including UI, backend services, APIs, and data sources.
Design and implement new functionality to support the registration of new research entities.
Establish and improve Azure infrastructure for both modernised and existing applications.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Enhance engineering quality through automated testing, code reviews, and secure development practices.
Support applications throughout their lifecycle, balancing maintenance and new development.
Key Requirements:
Several years of professional experience in full stack software development.
Strong hands-on experience with C# and .
NET, including maintaining and upgrading applications.
Practical experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and data integration.
Hands-on experience with Azure and CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
Broad understanding of software architecture and application security.
Self-driven work style with strong responsibility for tasks.
Nice to Have:
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
