ELEKS  Quality Assurance Office is looking for a Test Manager in Argentina

Teams use agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and XP. The majority follow TDD and pair programming.

This is a client-facing Test Manager role that blends project/people management with a QA background — we’re looking for someone who has grown from a Test Manager/QA leadership path into project management, and can bring both skill sets to the table. This is a lighter-weight PM function: focused on risk and people management rather than budgets, EVM, or heavy PMO tooling.

REQUIREMENTS

• Solid background in software testing/QA, ideally having worked as a Test Manager or QA Lead before moving into project management
• Experience operating as a Test Manager on the client side, working directly within an engineering team
• Practical project/people management experience — specifically around risk management and team/people leadership, rather than formal PMO discipline (no budget management, EVM, or similar heavy PM tooling required)
• Strong soft skills: stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, cross-team coordination
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, immediate-start engagement

OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with both manual and automation testing backgrounds
• ISTQB or equivalent QA/Test Management certification
• Prior experience in healthcare or other regulated industry environments
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum ceremonies from both a QA and PM perspective

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as Test Manager on the client side, embedded within the engineering team
• Manage project risks and coordinate mitigation efforts across the team
• Lead and support people management within the engagement — mentoring, performance alignment, and team coordination
• Bridge communication between QA/engineering functions and project stakeholders
• Support planning and status reporting from a lightweight PM perspective
