Director, Product Management
The Director, Product will lead product strategy, development, and execution across a portfolio of products and features, ensuring alignment with Oracle’s broader business objectives and customer needs. This role will partner closely with engineering, business leaders, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify market opportunities, define product direction, and deliver differentiated solutions.
The Director will guide products throughout the lifecycle—from market analysis and roadmap development through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization. This role will use customer insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, and performance data to inform priorities and investment decisions while establishing clear success criteria and driving accountability for results. The Director will also lead and develop product teams, foster strong cross-functional partnerships, and champion a customer-centric approach to product development.

Define and drive product strategy, vision, and roadmaps across a portfolio of products and features, aligning priorities with Oracle’s business strategy and market opportunities.

Lead market, competitive, and customer analysis to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and opportunities for new products, capabilities, and enhancements.

Oversee the product lifecycle from concept and requirements through development, launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.

Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to establish priorities, define requirements, resolve tradeoffs, and ensure successful execution against product roadmaps.

Establish and monitor product success metrics, including OKRs, KPIs, customer adoption, feedback, and business performance, using insights to guide investment and prioritization decisions.

Build strong relationships with customers and incorporate customer feedback throughout the product lifecycle to improve product value, quality, and adoption.

Drive alignment with senior leaders and stakeholders across lines of business on product direction, priorities, investments, and key decisions.

Lead go-to-market readiness in partnership with sales, marketing, field, and other stakeholders, including early adopter programs, product positioning, enablement, and customer engagement.

Identify and drive improvements to product management practices, processes, and operating mechanisms to increase organizational effectiveness and execution.

Lead, mentor, and develop product management teams, establishing clear priorities, fostering accountability, and building product management capabilities across the organization.
Key Qualifications

Extensive experience leading product strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle management for complex products or portfolios, translating customer, market, and business needs into clear priorities and actionable plans.

Proven ability to lead and influence engineering and cross-functional teams in delivering products and capabilities from strategy through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.

Strong analytical and business judgment, with experience using customer insights, market analysis, and product metrics to shape portfolio strategy, guide prioritization and investment decisions, and drive product improvements.

Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and align cross-functional organizations around product vision, strategic priorities, investment decisions, and measurable business outcomes.

Experience leading, mentoring, and developing product management teams, setting clear expectations, fostering accountability, and building strong product management capabilities across the organization.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate product vision, strategy, priorities, and complex concepts to executive, technical, customer, and business audiences.
- Experience establishing and scaling product management practices, operating mechanisms, governance, and decision-making processes to support consistent execution and organizational effectiveness.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,200 to $306,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
