Short Summary:
Eddie Kane Steel Products is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist with proficiency in CNC machining and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Follows all safety guidelines and standards.
- Check all documentation before beginning a work order.
- Check material for size and correct dimensions as well as quantity before beginning the work order.
- Setup machine and/or any tooling required to machine/grind the parts.
- Record all information on work order.
- Complete Production Log daily.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Performs general lubrication maintenance to the work center.
- Maintain neat and accurate written documentation as required.
- Report any problems or quality concerns to supervisor immediately.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirement:
- CNC machining experience
- Ability to read micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and shop drawings
- Lift up to 75 pounds
- Operate an overhead crane, and perform prolonged standing, bending, and walking
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior experience helpful
