Responsibilities

  • - Lead and own the overall ART/Product test solution aligned with program milestones and deliveries. - Define, drive, and maintain the ART-level test strategy in collaboration with solution and test architects. - Support development and feature teams in establishing and executing effective test plans. - Review and assess team test plans against program objectives and delivery milestones. - Coordinate test object requirements, environments, tools, and dependencies across teams. - Drive adoption of quality engineering and targeted quality assurance practices within the ART. - Manage test activities including planning, execution, defect management, reporting, follow-up, and risk management. - Establish and maintain test traceability, test inventory, and coverage metrics. - Provide guidance and coaching on test methodologies, analysis, execution cadence, and reporting practices. - Consolidate test results and provide program-level quality assessments. - Communicate quality status, risks, blockers, and recommendations to key stakeholders. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives and test process transformation activities. - Support release readiness assessments and quality gate reviews.

SKILLS

Must have

  • The role requires advanced expertise in software testing and quality assurance, supported by a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Candidates must demonstrate substantial experience leading testing efforts in various capacities, including Test Lead, Test Manager, Quality Lead, and ART Test Lead. Hard skills include: - Developing and implementing test strategies and plans - Executing tests and managing defect tracking processes - Reporting test progress and quality metrics through dashboards - Conducting risk management within testing activities - Coordinating testing efforts across multiple teams within Agile and SAFe frameworks Soft skills encompass: - Effective communication and stakeholder management across diverse groups - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities - Proficiency in English to facilitate clear, concise reporting and collaboration

Nice to have

- Automotive industry experience: Familiarity with the automotive sector and its specific development environments. (Optional) - Experience with development processes at a major automotive manufacturer: Understanding of structured workflows and standards used in automotive software development. (Optional) - Knowledge of CI/CD and test automation frameworks: Awareness of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automation tools to enhance software quality. (Optional) - Experience using ALM tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps: Ability to manage requirements, track defects, and coordinate development tasks through application lifecycle management systems. (Optional) - ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification: Demonstrated expertise in test management principles and practices through recognized certification. (Optional) - Experience with quality gates and release governance: Understanding of processes to ensure software meets quality standards prior to release. (Optional) - Exposure to embedded software, connected vehicles, or infotainment systems: Familiarity with software domains related to automotive electronics and connectivity. (Optional)
