Senior .NET Microservices Engineer

Project description

We are looking for an experienced .NET Microservices Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable, resilient, and cloud-native services supporting critical banking capabilities. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and experience working in an AI-assisted software engineering environment. You should possess a strong understanding of Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and DevOps principles, with the ability to own solutions through the full delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support enterprise-grade microservices and APIs.
• Deliver secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native solutions.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions.
• Troubleshoot complex production and performance issues.
• Collaborate closely with architecture, platform, DevOps, and business teams.
• Drive automation, observability, and continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Adopt modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development techniques to improve delivery outcomes.

SKILLS

Must have

• At least 8 years of experience of development, preferably in banking industry, within .NET area
• C#, .NET 8, ASP.NET Core
• Microservices & Service-Oriented Architecture
• Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Kafka / Event-Driven Architecture
• Oracle and PostgreSQL
• AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
• DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
• Monitoring, Observability and Production Support
• Strong understanding of Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and DevOps principles
