Release Train Manager

We are seeking an experienced Release Train Manager (RTM) to lead and coordinate the agile delivery of a Strategy, Engineering & Architecture division. The successful candidate will be responsible for orchestrating program-level processes, managing dependencies, and ensuring continuous delivery of high-quality API endpoints that power our digital banking services.

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage Agile Release Trains (ARTs) delivering on all platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery cadence. Review and approve code merge requests and image promotions, to ensure a clean audit trail as new code moves across the environments chain Coordinate release schedules, manage risks, dependencies, and impediments across multiple Agile teams, by working closely with Scrum Masters and Delivery Teams. Act as a liaison between product management, engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and effective communication. Provide on-call support during core platform release weekends and organize on-call rotation of Engineers. Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices and team performance. Monitor and report on delivery metrics and progress to senior management. Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards relevant to the Bank.

SKILLS

Must have

• Proven experience as a Release Train Manager or equivalent role in Agile environments, preferably within international large organizations. Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile Release Train operations. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with digital banking services and knowledge of regulatory requirements is a plus. Relevant certifications such as SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Agile Scrum Master certifications are a plus.

Nice to have

Proven experience in Release Planning and Management of banking applications, with the ability to effectively engage in technical conversations and stakeholder discussions
