Responsibilities

• Design and develop core application modules using Java, Spring Boot, Camunda/Fluxnova, and Oracle DB. Participate in client and stakeholder meetings to understand business needs and translate them into robust technical requirements. Decompose complex tasks into manageable units and provide accurate effort estimations. Identify and resolve bugs, write comprehensive unit tests, and perform code reviews to ensure high-quality delivery. Help maintain the technical infrastructure, including continuous integration and automated deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in backend development.

SKILLS

Must have

• 3-7 years of professional software development experience in Java. Strong understanding of Java Core concepts, multithreading, and software design patterns. Solid experience working with Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs. Proficiency with build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle. Experience using JIRA, Git (Stash/Bitbucket), and Confluence for project management and collaboration. Practical experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle DB, and basic-to-intermediate SQL knowledge. Excellent communication and presentation skills, a proactive problem-solving attitude, and a strong desire to learn.

Nice to have

Hands-on experience with BPM engines (Camunda or Fluxnova preferred). Cloud Platforms: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong SQL optimization skills and experience with advanced database concepts. Containers: Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Helm for container orchestration. Technical leadership skills or experience mentoring junior engineers.
