Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in the review and improvement of test processes and methodologies and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and compliance specialists to understand the requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, attend daily stand-up meetings, provide feedback, and contribute to sprint retrospectives.
• Is an integral part of the SDLC process by creating/approving TER(test execution report) for production deployments.
• Keep up to date with new testing tools, techniques, and technologies to improve overall testing quality.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., AML, GDPR, local regulations).

SKILLS

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM, qTest).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Familiarity with database concepts and ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI or Bruno.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in designing, writing, and executing test cases.

Nice to have

• Experience testing KYC, AML, or other compliance-related systems/projects is highly preferred. • Certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB). • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS). • Practical experience in testing AI/ML-enabled functionality or applying AI-assisted tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
