Cloud Engineer

Project description

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to support and enhance secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments. The role focuses on cloud operations, governance, automation, security, monitoring, networking, and CI/CD while ensuring alignment with enterprise and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities: Maintain and administer enterprise cloud environments and services. Implement cloud governance, security controls, access management, tagging, guardrails, SCPs, and cost-management practices. Identify vulnerabilities and support security risk mitigation. Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operational activities. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure and automated deployments. Monitor cloud performance, availability, capacity, and resource utilization. Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and networking issues. Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and cloud reliability initiatives. Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to continuously improve cloud environments.

Must have

• Mandatory Skills: Cloud Operations AWS / Azure / GCP Terraform GitHub Actions CI/CD Python PowerShell Cloud Networking Cloud Monitoring Cloud Security & Governance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Mandatory Skills Description: 4+ years of recent experience in Cloud IT Operations or Cloud Engineering. Strong hands-on knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Advanced experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Hands-on scripting and automation experience using Python and/or PowerShell. Strong understanding of cloud networking, monitoring, security, access controls, governance, and troubleshooting. Experience supporting scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise cloud environments. Experience using AI tools for cloud automation, operational analysis, troubleshooting, and efficiency improvements. Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices. Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments, particularly healthcare.
