Senior Axiom Developer

Project description

We are looking for experienced developers to support the implementation and enhancement of regulatory reporting solutions for banking clients. The successful candidate will have hands-on AxiomSL / ControllerView implementation experience, a good understanding of regulatory reporting requirements, and experience implementing client-specific and local jurisdictional customisations.

Responsibilities

• Candidates will support AxiomSL implementation activities across the project lifecycle for different client engagements.
• Support client discovery workshops and design and configure solutions within project parameters
• Collaborate with Nasdaq and client stakeholders, Solution Architects, and subject matter experts to analyze client data and implement appropriate solutions
• Perform hands-on development using the Axiom ControllerView platform or other technology required for the implementation
• Participate in requirements gathering, development, unit testing, testing support, and production support
• Deliver end-user platform or solution training
• Provide regulatory reporting expertise and remain current with regulatory developments
• Follow software development lifecycle best practices and maintain precise documentation
• Support Capital Risk, Local Regulatory Reporting, Trade and Transaction Reporting, GSD Reporting, FinReg, and FINSTAT solutions

SKILLS

Must have

• 4–7 years of AxiomSL implementation experience out of which 2.5 years in Axiom
• Experience with Nasdaq RegCloud and/or migration from on-premise AxiomSL to RegCloud.
• Familiarity with Capital market concepts such as Financial Statements, Accounting, risk reporting, reference data sets related to regulatory reporting
• Excellent SQL skills and experience using SQL query tools
• Experience with Axiom CV v9/10
• Experience and a strong interest in software implementation and process management is required
• Is service focused and can communicate clearly with client personnel at any level, from technical staff to executive leadership.

Nice to have

• Proficient in using JIRA, MS Office apps • Certified scrum master / knowledgeable in agile methodologies • Has experience in SDLC lifecycles for regtech solutions • Aware of cloud computing fundamentals
