Project description
We are seeking an experienced Appian Business Analyst with over 10 years of experience in the Mortgage Banking domain and a strong understanding of Appian Low-Code Platform. The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving digital transformation initiatives, process automation, and workflow optimization across mortgage operations.
Responsibilities
- 1. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, operations teams, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
2. Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions to identify business needs and process improvement opportunities.
3. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, business process models, and acceptance criteria.
4. Facilitate communication between business users, Appian developers, architects, QA teams, and project managers.
5. Support change management and user adoption initiatives.
6. Work closely with Appian developers and architects to design workflow and automation solutions.
7. Create process models, business rules, user interface requirements, and integration specifications.
8. Participate in Appian application design discussions and solution reviews.
9. Review configurations and validate business functionality delivered by development teams.
10. Support Agile delivery methodologies and release management processes.
SKILLS
Must have
- 1) Good experience working on Appian BPM/Low-Code platform projects.
Strong understanding of Appian process models, records, interfaces, business rules, reports, and workflows.
2) Ability to translate business requirements into Appian solution designs and user stories.
3) Experience working closely with Appian developers, architects, and QA teams.
4) Strong understanding of Loan Origination, Mortgage Processing, Underwriting, Closing & Funding, Mortgage Servicing, Loss Mitigation, Default Management, Foreclosure Processes
Nice to have
Prior experience with leading bank in Australia is preferred.
