Account Executive

About Clientbook Clientbook is a tech startup in Lehi, Utah. We help high-end retailers, mostly fine jewelers and fashion boutiques, sell more by staying close to their clients.

For years we've built Clientbook CRM, a clienteling app that helps sales associates build relationships with their clients through reminders, client data, and text messaging.

Now we're launching Clientbook Handoff. With Handoff, a store hands its client outreach to us and we take care of it. Stores can buy any of these services on their own or together:

• Event outreach. We invite the store's clients to trunk shows and in-store events.

• Annual marketing plans. A full year of personal outreach for each client, like life events, cleaning check reminders, and VIP check-ins.

• Promotional outreach. A personalized message for a promotion, and we handle the back and forth with every client who replies.

Some stores use the CRM, some use Handoff, and some use both.

We're a small, fast-growing team, and every person here plays a major role in shaping the company. Join now and you'll make a big impact and grow with us.

About the role We're hiring an Account Executive to sell both Clientbook CRM and Handoff. This is a full-cycle role. You'll find your own prospects, cold call them, run discovery and demos, and close the deal.

Handoff is new, so you'll be one of the first people selling it. What you hear on calls will shape how we talk about it and what we build next.

Some stores want software their own team uses every day. Others want us to handle the outreach for them. Many will want both. Your job is to figure out what fits each store, get them started, and grow the account from there. Building genuine relationships with owners, understanding what they need, and selling to that need is how you'll win. If you like seeing the direct impact your work has on a business, you'll like it here.

At Clientbook, we believe you should control your promotion path just like you control your commissions. We have a clearly defined path based on your performance. Ask us about it!

How we use AI We use AI every day, in every part of the company. We keep a shared library of AI skills that anyone on the team can use, and people add to it as they find better ways to work. AI is also built into Handoff, helping us plan and personalize the outreach we do for stores.

We'll expect you to use it too. In this role, that means using AI to:

• Research a store and its owner before you call

• Prep for discovery calls and demos

• Draft follow-up emails and texts

• Keep your pipeline notes organized and up to date

You don't need a technical background. You do need to be curious and willing to try new tools. If you already use AI to get more done, tell us how in your application.

What your day looks like

• Cold call and email jewelers and boutique owners to build your own pipeline

• Run discovery calls to learn how a store reaches its clients today and where it needs help

• Show stores how Clientbook CRM and Handoff fit their business, and which one makes sense to start with

• Work through objections and close new business through relationship-based selling

• Hit your monthly quota

• Keep your pipeline organized and up to date

• Work with our operations and customer success teams so new customers get a smooth start

• Share what you hear from prospects with our product and marketing teams

What you should bring

• Self-starter. We're a small, fast-growing team, and no one will manage your day-to-day work.

• Comfortable on the phone. You'll cold call every day and talk with store owners across the country. If you don't like talking to people, this may not be the job for you.

• Hunger to win deals. You like the chase, and you like closing even more.

• Quota experience. You've worked under a quota and commission compensation structure.

• Detail-oriented. Deals can move quickly, so your pipeline will change fast. You'll keep track of who each person is, what problem they're trying to solve, and what you've talked about before.

• Curious about AI. You like trying new tools and finding smarter ways to work.

• Passion for helping clients. You care about helping stores grow their sales and improve how they work.

• Natural leadership. There will be lots of room to grow in the coming years. We hope the people we hire now grow into future leaders here.

• Makes things simple. You'll learn how these stores run and explain, in plain terms, how Clientbook helps them sell more.

• Thinks like a business owner. You'll often be selling to the owner, so it helps to see things the way they do.

• Strong English. Excellent writing and speaking skills.

• Previous success in a sales role, especially software or services sales

• Full-cycle sales experience, from prospecting to close

• A track record of beating quota
