District Partners is supporting a cybersecurity company seeking a Director of Product Management to lead product strategy, develop talent, and bring enterprise security solutions to market.

This role calls for a product leader with technical depth and commercial judgment. Someone who understands the challenges security teams face, asks thoughtful questions, and turns customer needs into clear priorities for product and engineering teams.

You’ll stay close to customers, coach Product Managers, and make decisions that shape both the product experience and business results.

What You’ll Do

• Set product direction and translate business goals into focused, achievable roadmaps.
• Manage and develop Product Managers, strengthening their judgment, customer engagement, and execution.
• Build relationships with enterprise customers to understand their security needs and validate opportunities.
• Work closely with Engineering and security specialists to assess options, make tradeoffs, and deliver useful capabilities.
• Improve how customers evaluate, adopt, and use the company’s products.
• Collaborate with commercial teams on product positioning, launches, and customer feedback.
• Establish clear measures of success and use results to refine priorities.
• Communicate product decisions and investment recommendations to executive leadership.

What You Bring

• A substantial track record owning commercial B2B cybersecurity products.
• Direct experience managing and developing Product Managers.
• Strong technical fluency and the ability to engage credibly with engineers and security practitioners.
• Experience translating complex enterprise security needs into successful products.
• Ownership across the product lifecycle, from customer discovery through launch and ongoing improvement.
• Sound prioritization skills and confidence balancing customer needs, technical considerations, and business goals.
• Demonstrated improvements in product adoption, customer value, or commercial performance.
• Clear communication and the ability to build alignment across technical and business teams.

Technical Background

Cybersecurity product leadership is essential. You should understand how security solutions work, how customers use them, and what makes them effective in demanding enterprise environments.

Experience in security engineering, software development, architecture, or research is valuable. A previous engineering title is not required; demonstrated technical depth and strong product judgment are.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Base salary up to approximately $200-$250,000, plus equity and benefits (potential flexability on comp and OTE)
