Sr Manager Commercial Operations Central Eastern Europe - Healthcare - Austria

Are you passionate about shaping the future of healthcare? At Dexcom, our newly created Commercial team is focused on expanding the market and delivering growth in Central (Eastern) Europe (CEE): Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Executing on strategy in these countries, and partnering and collaborating with our distributors in the region, will be key to success.

The position is based in Austria, alternatively Slovenia. Cross-border commuting (hybrid) is not available for this role. Relocation will be supported.

Where you come in

• Lead commercial strategies across the CEE region (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary), guiding and partnering with local distributors to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual targets.
• Plan and coordinate all commercial activities within your region, including forecasting, reporting, investments, and business planning.
• Co-lead and develop the commercial teams working with our distributor partners, maximizing their potential and performance through joint field visits, coaching, feedback, and tailored development plans.
• Develop and manage cross-functional relationships to build a high-performing regional team, collaborating closely with Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to support our distributors and help more patients benefit from our therapies.
• Increase Dexcom's market share and achieve revenue and patient targets in line with company goals, values, and culture.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of innovative training programs on Dexcom products and related solutions for healthcare professionals and patients.
• Drive the effective use of CRM systems by our distributors to identify business development opportunities, improve customer engagement, and increase field force efficiency.
• Strengthen Dexcom's brand awareness across the region through targeted initiatives developed with Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs.

What makes you successful

• Several years of experience in a relevant leadership role in Central Eastern Europe (sales or commercial, commercial excellence, distributor business) in the diabetes, medical device or pharma industry.
• Proven track record of achieving commercial targets and delivering success in the MedTech device industry, including building, leading and managing a team.
• Sound experience analysing data: collating, organizing, and interpreting data to provide clear information to manage a territory.
• Fluent in English and at least one of Polish, Czech, Slovak, or Hungarian (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of the local market and hands-on commercial experience in at least one of the CEE countries.
• Strong commercial competencies.
• Competent user of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of CRM systems.
• Full driving license.

Travel and requirements

• Travel required: 50% to 75%, mainly in the CEE region.
• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of industry experience.
• 5 years of previous management or lead experience.

Workplace

Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically within an hour's commute). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site, a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex/Hybrid workplace option.
