Short Summary:
Deepgram is the leading platform for Voice AI, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text and text-to-speech. The company is looking for an AP Manager to own the full invoice-to-pay function and build the finance team from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Build and own the full invoice-to-pay cycle — intake, coding, approvals, payment
- Automate the cycle toward touchless: AI-driven ingestion, coding, and duplicate detection
- Own month-end AP close — accruals, cutoff, subledger-to-GL tie-out, aging
- Stand up AP analytics that change how the function runs
- Get AP audit-ready ahead of the first external audit
- Lead AP setup and migration through the ERP move
- Own the Ramp card program, vendor/tax compliance (W-9/W-8, 1099s), and AP sales/use tax
Requirement:
- Experience running a function independently
- AI-native with built AP workflows
- Ability to create reusable tools for repeat work
- Strong review skills for catching errors
- Knowledge of controls and audit evidence
- Experience with ERPs based on merit
