See yourself at Dataminr Dataminr is looking for a strategic B2B marketeer to become our Director of Content Marketing and Social Media, reporting to the VP of Brand and Communications. You'll spearhead shaping a high-impact content and social strategy that builds brand awareness, thought leadership, and demand — owning the content roadmap and social execution that brings our storytelling to life. We're looking for a self-starter who can set the vision while executing fast, someone who knows how to craft content for every stage of the buyer's journey, get it in front of the right audiences, and prove its impact through data. You'll turn complex topics in corporate security, cybersecurity, and public sector into content that resonates. This is a rare chance to shape Dataminr's voice, elevate our AI and security leadership, and build a content engine that fuels real growth. AI Innovation at Dataminr Working at Dataminr you’ll have the opportunity to tackle the most exciting trends in AI on a daily basis to power a revolutionary product that uncovers critical events around the world as they unfold. Regenerative AI: our AI technology, ReGenAI, is a new form of generative AI that automatically regenerates real-time Live Event Briefs as events unfold. Learn more here. Agentic AI: we recently launched our Agentic AI capability, what we’re calling our Intel Agents, that autonomously generates critical context for our clients on real-time events, threats, and risks allowing them to see the clearest, most accurate view of what’s happening on the ground. Learn more here Multimodal AI: our platform detects events from many different types of data (images, video, sensor data, audio, and text in over 150 languages). Learn more here. The Opportunity Own end-to-end content strategy and the content roadmap, positioning Dataminr as a leader in real-time information and aligning with marketing, sales, and product priorities to deliver against time-bound goals. Develop and edit high-quality content — blogs, whitepapers, reports, case studies, videos — with SMEs, implementing content standards, templates, and consistent messaging across all materials. Develop and execute a social media strategy that drives brand building, audience growth, conversions, and awareness, including campaigns for top-of-funnel brand awareness and middle-of-funnel demand generation, and strategies tailored to regional needs (primarily EMEA). Amplify employer brand and executive presence through content and social activity around corporate initiatives, thought leaders, and culture, partnering with PR, social, and digital teams to extend reach across earned, owned, and paid channels. Develop and monitor key performance metrics (organic traffic, SEO, engagement, conversions, leads), measuring and optimizing content and social performance. Conduct interviews with internal and external stakeholders — customers, thought leaders — to fuel content ideation, serving as an evangelist for Dataminr's brand and message through thought leadership. Develop and maintain AI-powered workflows, tools, and best practices for the content team — establishing standards that ensure consistency, brand voice alignment, and compliance (e.g., Gartner citation rules) across all AI-assisted output. Leverage AI to accelerate content ideation, drafting, and production across formats, enabling the team to scale output and turnaround time without sacrificing editorial quality or strategic rigor. What you bring At Dataminr, we value you for who you are. We encourage you to apply for this role, even if you don't meet every qualification. Our candidates are reviewed on the basis of their skill and potential to succeed. BS/MS degree in Marketing or related field (journalism experience a plus), with leadership experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills. 8+ years of demonstrable experience across content strategy, asset development, and demand generation, with proven success in content marketing and social media strategy. Strong track record in performance analytics, using data-driven decisions to continually optimize content and drive the customer acquisition funnel. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently present insights and recommendations to senior management, and coordinate across multiple teams throughout the organization.
