Datadog is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead a multi-team engineering organization in Tel Aviv, focusing on product areas such as Product Analytics, Universal Service Monitoring, and Security Monitoring. This role involves partnering with product managers and engineering leaders to shape the roadmap and build a strong engineering culture.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a team of talented engineers, ensuring high-quality, timely work.
- Hire and develop senior talent, raising the seniority bar on site.
- Grow and develop a team of engineering managers, coaching them as leaders.
- Partner with product managers and designers to shape the future of the product.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders across multiple locations to deliver cross-cutting projects.
- Help shape the future of the Tel Aviv site and the broader engineering organization.

Requirement:
- Product-building leader with real product sense, comfortable working with product and design.
- Background in engineering with the ability to earn trust from senior engineers.
- Experience integrating AI into engineering practices.
- Proven track record in hiring and developing engineering teams.
- Experience managing managers and leading organizations with multiple layers of leadership.
- Ability to operate in multi-geography companies and work effectively across different cultures.
- Customer-focused mindset with a drive to build products addressing real needs.
- Depth in areas such as web and product analytics, developer-experience products, or security engineering.
