Perks of becoming a Rhino:

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
Provision and manage GCP infrastructure — including GCP Projects, Cloud Storage Buckets, BigQuery Datasets, and BigQuery Tables — using Terraform as Infrastructure as Code, covering Transfer Jobs, permissions, secrets, labels, and modules
Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines orchestrated with Argo Workflows, defining workflow logic in YAML within a GCP environment
Develop, version, test, and document ETL transformations using dbt (Data Build Tool) with SQL, applying dbt's built-in automated testing and integrated documentation features
Write Python to support data engineering workflows, from pipeline logic to data processing tasks within the established stack
Containerize and deploy data workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring consistent and scalable execution of data engineering components
Manage source code and collaborate on data engineering projects using Git and GitLab, following version control practices through commits and merge requests
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to automate testing and deployment of data engineering artifacts across environments
Fluency in English (C1 Level)
Availability for remote model, based in Portugal (candidates should be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit)
