Perks of becoming a Rhino:

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
Familiarity with AWS as well as ETL processes
Proficiency in managing Iceberg table lifecycle processes, specifically compaction and retention, to ensure storage efficiency and query performance
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across data pipelines, maintaining reliability within Pipeline Orchestration workflows
Strong grasp of Data Processing principles, with demonstrated ability to contribute to performance tuning of data workloads at scale
Familiarity with Release Management practices and the ability to produce SDLC deliverables in line with consulting engagement standards
Collaborative approach to enabling domain teams in adopting consistent ELT and Pipeline Orchestration standards across a Lakehouse environment.
Fluency in English (C1 Level)
Availability for remote model, based in Portugal (candidates must already be based in Portugal, with Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit)
