Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Satellite Controller to join our Flight Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of spacecraft, supporting all mission phases from satellite development to launch and then through routine operations and anomaly resolution. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge satellite missions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and execute spacecraft operations by performing Flight Operations Procedures (FOPs) from the mission control centerSupport the development, coding, validation, and maintenance of operational proceduresParticipate in pre-launch activities, including: System Validation Tests (SVTs) with spacecraft or simulatorsGround segment validation campaignsMonitor spacecraft health and status, ensuring compliance with mission constraintsIdentify, investigate, and escalate spacecraft anomalies in accordance with established protocolsExecute contingency and recovery procedures following anomaly resolution approvalSupport mission readiness activities, including simulations and training campaignsMaintain accurate operational logs and contribute to post-operations reportingRequired Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 3 years’ experience in a control centre environment (space or comparable high-reliability industry), or in aerospace testing (hardware and/or software)Sound technical background in at least one of the following disciplines: AvionicsElectrical EngineeringElectronicsThermal EngineeringSoftware EngineeringStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a structured approach to problem-solvingAbility to operate effectively under pressure in time-critical situationsExcellent command of English (written and spoken)Willingness to work in shift patterns in a control center located in Warsaw, including critical mission phases such as LEOP (Launch and Early Orbit Phase)Commitment to training and certification for flight operations Desirable Skills & ExperienceProven experience in satellite operations or mission control environmentsKnowledge of Python or other scripting languages used in operations automationExperience of writing procedures for control or tests of a systemFamiliarity with space operations standards and procedures (e.g. ECSS)Personal AttributesStrong attention to detail and operational disciplineTeam-oriented with effective communication skillsProactive and resilient mindsetHigh level of responsibility and commitment to mission success
