Short Summary:
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will bring ideas to life through hands-on prototyping, transforming complex requirements into tangible, high-impact solutions. This role supports our DACH customers, working on European business hours, and involves traveling to customer sites as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Disambiguate customer needs to shape clear, compelling use cases and solution architectures.
- Build working prototypes and technical proofs based on approved use cases.
- Translate business and architectural requirements into functional, testable solutions.
- Validate solution feasibility, performance, and scalability through hands-on experimentation.
- Iterate rapidly on solutions to accelerate production readiness, generating reusable patterns and sharing insights across teams.
- Serve as the primary technical owner for assigned DACH accounts, building trusted stakeholder relationships and driving solutions to adoption.
- Deliver workshops, requirements sessions, technical documentation, and demos fluently in German and English.
Requirement:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, system integration, or related fields.
- Professional fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) for customer-facing delivery.
- Strong technical prototyping skills spanning APIs, data pipelines, and front-end/back-end systems.
- Proven track record in ambiguous, high-impact environments, combining strong problem-solving skills with a rapid, experimentation-driven mindset.
