What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire an Site Reliability Engineer within our Prepaid card division. This position falls under our Corpay Payables line of business and is located in Brentwood, TN. This role is responsible for leading a cross-functional software engineering team consisting of software developers and quality engineers. The Site Reliability Engineer is accountable for delivering high-quality software while developing people, improving engineering practices, and partnering closely with Product Management and business stakeholders to achieve business outcomes. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Software Engineering Manager in the Prepaid division. As Corpay transforms into an AI-native software engineering organization, this leader will be expected to drive adoption of AI across the software development lifecycle. Our engineering teams leverage AI to accelerate software design, implementation, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, security, and engineering excellence. Successful candidates will have experience applying generative AI within software engineering and will be excited to help shape the future of AI-powered software development. The Site Reliability Engineer must possess strong technical leadership, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a solid understanding of modern cloud architecture, AWS, and software engineering best practices. Driving adoption of agentic software engineering practices that leverage AI agents to accelerate software delivery. Driving adoption of AI-native quality engineering practices to generate and maintain test assets, identify risk, accelerate regression testing, improve defect analysis, and expand test coverage. Ensuring AI-generated code and artifacts meet Corpay standards through peer review, automated testing, security practices, and engineering judgment. Partnering with Product Management to identify opportunities for customer-facing AI capabilities that create business value. Owning delivery commitments by proactively managing schedules, dependencies, risks, and impediments. Working with architects and other technical leaders to ensure solutions align with Corpay's technology strategy. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience 6+ years overall experience in software development 3+ years leading software engineering, quality engineering or similar teams Experience with Agile, Scrum, and emerging AI-native methodologies for software development Experience applying generative AI to software design, development, testing, or delivery. Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services Experience with Git and modern source control workflows. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process.
