Short Summary:
Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Header Machine Operator. Experience with header machines is not required as training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate header machines and supporting equipment to manufacture high-quality fasteners.
- Learn to adjust machine settings for different production jobs.
- Perform routine machine inspections and daily preventative maintenance.
- Inspect parts using measuring tools, gauges, and visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
- Safely move materials and finished products throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all Lockout/Tagout procedures and company safety policies.
- Cross-train in other manufacturing areas as needed and assist with training new team members as your experience grows.
Requirement:
- Experience operating manufacturing or production machinery preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written work instructions.
- Good organizational and note-taking skills.
- Reliable attendance and a positive team attitude.
- Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for the entire shift (8+ hours).
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely perform repetitive manufacturing tasks.
