Business Transformation Analyst
Department: Product Development
Team: Enterprise Transformation Office
Location: Logan, UT - Hybrid (In office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Overview
As a Business Transformation Analyst within the Enterprise Transformation Office, you'll sit shoulder to shoulder with the operators who run Conservice today, learn how the work really gets done, and then design and build the AI skills, agents, and repeatable solutions that carry it forward. This is a hands-on role: you'll model the data to find the biggest opportunities, make the business case, build the solution, and stay with it as it scales. The people who thrive on this team come from all kinds of backgrounds: analytics, operations, product development, project management or engineering. Despite varied backgrounds, this team shares a way of working: curious, analytical, comfortable collaborating with people and technology to support and elevate business operations and their outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Partner with operators, team leads, and subject-matter experts to observe and document how work is done today — including the workarounds, exceptions, and pain points.
- Use data modeling and analysis to validate what you learn, size the opportunity, and target the highest-value work.
- Translate discovery into clear, complete requirements: business rules, edge cases, inputs, outputs, and success criteria.
- Build the business case for each opportunity — time, cost, quality, and client impact — and bring it to leadership for prioritization.
- Design and build AI skills, agents, and workflows that codify how the work gets done, and package them into repeatable patterns and playbooks others can reuse.
- Test solutions against real-world scenarios and edge cases, and partner with engineering on integrations to company systems and data.
- Lead rollout to operators and teams, including training, documentation, and support.
- Own your solutions in production: maintain instructions and versions, monitor quality, adapt when business rules change, and retire what is no longer useful.
- Track productivity and adoption for every solution, report results against the original business case, and manage a prioritized backlog of improvements.
- Contribute to Conservice's AI stan
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Strong requirements discovery: you ask the right questions, see how work really happens, and document current state clearly and completely.
- Analytical and data-modeling skill to size opportunities, find inefficiencies, and measure results.
- Practical experience building with large language models (such as Claude) — writing instructions, skills, and prompts, and configuring agents and AI-enabled workflows.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel; working knowledge of Python or R.
- Experience with process mapping and requirements documentation (process maps, user stories, or requirements specs).
- Business acumen: you understand how operational change affects cost, revenue, client experience, and risk, and can build a credible case.
- Communication that works as well with frontline operators as with senior leaders, turning complex work into decision-ready recommendations.
- Ownership: a self-starter who structures ambiguous problems and drives them to measurable results with minimal direction.
PREFERRED
- Familiarity with AI concepts such as agents, tool use and integrations (e.g., MCP), context management, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Background in operations, product, project or product management, engineering, consulting, or solutions engineering.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and testing practices applied to prompts, skills, or agents.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, analytics, information systems, engineering, or similar) or equivalent experience. MBA in applicable disciplines preferred.
