NextJS Vercel Sanity Engineer

Confiz is seeking a skilled Next.js / Vercel / Sanity Engineer to support our client in developing and optimizing modern web applications and digital experiences. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise with Next.js, React.js, Vercel, and Sanity, along with excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.

This role will collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing web solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain modern web applications using Next.js and React.js.
• Build and optimize web applications leveraging Vercel for deployment, hosting, and performance.
• Develop and maintain content-driven applications using Sanity CMS.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and system issues.
• Perform detailed debugging and root-cause analysis to identify and resolve software defects.
• Develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Integrate web applications with APIs, backend services, and third-party systems.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
• Support application testing, deployment, and production troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities to improve application architecture, development processes, and technical performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development.
• Strong proficiency in NextJS, ReactJS and hands-on experience with Vercel and Sanity.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Strong debugging skills.
