Security Analyst I

As a Security Analyst, you'll gain hands-on experience through stimulating security projects and learn from industry experts in an advanced threat protection environment. You will apply and broaden your skill set to enforce immediate and effective detection of assessment, incident response, and remediation utilizing the most sophisticated security technologies available in the world. 

• Oversee cutting-edge, continuous incident response in collaboration with our elite IR (Incident Response) team.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret threat actors and malicious activity in client environments.
• Differentiate between potential intrusion attempts and pinpoint false alarms.
• Leverage our proprietary systems to develop and publish vulnerability reports.
• Develop and communicate comprehensive presentations for technical and executive audiences.
• Participate in daily shift handoffs to ensure continuity of monitoring and incident response activities across a 24/7 security operations environment.

• 2+ years relevant experience in a similar role or related field
• Foundational understanding of networking concepts, routing, switching, and common network security principles.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity threat landscapes, credential attacks, and common threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Understanding cybersecurity frameworks and best practices and the principles of least privilege and defense-in-depth. 
  • Familiarity with security monitoring tools and platforms
• Ability to investigate security alerts, review logs, identify indicators of compromise (IOCs), and escalate incidents appropriately based on documented procedures.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 security concepts, including Microsoft Defender, Entra ID (Azure AD), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and identity security.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Active Directory, user account management, and common endpoint security controls.
• Ability to analyze and interpret information from multiple monitoring sources to determine potential security risks and business impact.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to document findings, recommendations, and incident details accurately.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that provides 24x7 security monitoring
  • Willingness to participate in rotating schedules, staggered shift rotations, and incident response incident triage coverage.
