Team up to win. The project and the teamWe are seeking an experienced Platform / System Validation Engineer to join our project team. In this position, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the resilience, dependability, and performance of networking platforms and hardware. You will oversee the complete system bring-up process, maintain high platform stability, and execute rigorous soak testing to ensure our solutions are fully production-ready. What else you should know: The team consists of 5 people including a tech lead, project manager, and software engineers and network engineers. We use SCRUM/Agile methodology. Our tech stack for the project includes: Python, C, SONiC, ONIE, TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, VRFThe client is based in the USWe work on multiple interesting projects at the time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to the interview for another project, if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it. Your roleAs a part of the team, will be responsible for: Performing SONiC platform bring-up and ONIE installation/configuration and testingLead the initial bring-up and configuration of SONiC-based networking platforms and hardware. Validate optical modules, CMIS standards, breakout cables, firmware, and underlying hardware subsystems. Designing and maintaining automated test suites for platform validationValidate and executing system upgrades, recovery procedures, and owning overall system stability and soak testingOwn the stability, reliability, and soak testing processes to guarantee long-term operational resilience. Monitor and analyze thermal metrics and power consumption under various workloads. Collaborating with hardware and software engineering teams to debug and resolve platform issuesDo we have a match?
