Position Title: Technical Writer (Active Secret Clearance Required)

Requirements

• Possess Active SECRET level Security Clearance.

Position Summary: The Technical Writer creates and maintains the technical documentation behind the program's ISO 9001 Quality Management System, keeping it accurate, consistent and audit ready.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, revise and maintain technical documents, standard operating procedures, user manuals, release notes and related content
• Ensure all documentation aligns with and supports the Quality Management System
• Work with product management, quality assurance and subject matter experts to gather accurate information
• Maintain document version control, templates and style standards
• Support document reviews and audit preparation

Required Qualifications:

• S. citizenship.
• Maintain an Active SECRET clearance.
• Minimum 3 years of technical writing experience
• Familiarity with QMS documentation; ISO 9001 experience a plus
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills; Plain Language experience a plus

Education

• Bachelor's degree, or 7 years of equivalent experience
