Senior Product Manager, Banking
About the Role
This is a high-impact product leadership role owning a major banking product area that spans payment experiences, account services, platform reliability, and customer security. You'll sit at the intersection of engineering, operations, risk, and external partners to shape how small business customers manage and move money. The work directly defines the reliability and trustworthiness of a core fintech platform.
What You'll Do
Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core banking products including deposit accounts, money movement, cards, and underlying program infrastructure.
Drive the end-to-end experience for account opening, funding, deposits, and money-movement flows including ACH, wires, transfers, bill pay, and card transactions.
Partner with Engineering on ledger, payments rails, and card systems that power those flows.
Run a rigorous, cohort-based discovery process grounded in customer research and usage data to surface the highest-impact opportunities.
Write clear specs, define success metrics, and ship reliable, secure features on a predictable cadence with Engineering and Design.
Embed risk, fraud, security, and regulatory requirements into the product process from the start, working closely with Risk, Compliance, and Legal.
Manage product relationships and integrations with banking partners and key third-party vendors.
Define and track product metrics across activation, engagement, retention, multi-product adoption, and reliability.
What We're Looking For
5 to 15 years of product management experience, with a scope that fits a Senior PM level.
Strong hands-on experience with non-card payments and money movement, including ACH, wire transfers, and real-time payments (RTP).
Demonstrated ability to own banking product capabilities end-to-end, from discovery through delivery.
Comfort working with risk, compliance, and legal teams to build secure, regulation-aware products.
Stable, consistent employment history with depth in relevant domains.
Experience in fintech, business banking, or a closely adjacent financial services environment is a strong plus.
