Senior Product Manager, Banking

Title: Senior Product Manager, Banking Location: New York ABOUT THE ROLE This is a high-impact Senior Product Manager role owning a major product area that spans payment experiences, account services, platform reliability, and customer security. You'll sit at the intersection of engineering, operations, risk, and external banking partners, turning the complexity of financial infrastructure into simple, trustworthy experiences for small and independent business customers. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core banking products including deposit accounts, money movement, cards, and underlying program infrastructure. - Drive the end-to-end experience for account opening, funding, deposits, and money-movement flows such as ACH, wires, transfers, bill pay, and card transactions. - Partner closely with Engineering on the ledger, payments rails, and card systems that power those flows. - Run a rigorous, cohort-based discovery process grounded in customer research and usage data to surface the highest-impact opportunities. - Write clear specs, define success metrics, and ship reliable and secure features on a predictable cadence with Engineering and Design. - Embed risk, fraud, security, and regulatory requirements into the product process from the start, in partnership with Risk, Compliance, and Legal. - Manage product relationships and integrations with banking partners and key third-party vendors. - Define and track product metrics covering activation, engagement, retention, multi-product adoption, and reliability. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Demonstrated experience owning banking or payments products, with a strong grasp of how financial infrastructure actually works. - Hands-on knowledge of money-movement rails (ACH, wires, card networks) and the compliance and risk considerations that come with them. - Ability to lead cohort-based discovery and translate data and customer research into a focused, prioritized roadmap. - Track record of shipping well-scoped, reliable features in partnership with engineering and design teams. - Experience working with banking partners, core processors, or third-party payment vendors. - Comfortable operating at the Senior PM scope, neither a first-time PM nor a VP looking to step down. - Background in fintech, business banking, or a closely adjacent financial services domain preferred. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base salary: $160,000 to $200,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. LOCATION Hybrid, based in New York City, NY (2 to 3 days onsite per week in the Financial District area).
