About the Role

As Senior Manager, Engineering, you will lead two core R&D teams behind Network Protection and Anomaly & Threat Detection for our flagship SaaS platform, Claroty xDome.

In this role, you will build and scale high-impact, distributed security systems while leading the design of production-grade agentic services (policy recommendations, threat triage, and guided response).

As a Senior Manager, Engineering - xDome, your impact will be:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop Team Leads and Senior Engineers into strong technical owners.
• Technical Architecture: Own system coherence across stream processing, large-scale analytics, and cloud-native detection/enforcement engines.
• Execution & Impact: Set high standards for quality, resilience, and security while delivering customer-facing features and AI-driven capabilities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Security Research, and Platform teams to deliver a unified customer experience.

What you need to succeed in this role:

• Engineering Leadership: 4+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary R&D teams (managing managers/leads).
• Deep Technical Background: 8+ years building scalable distributed backend or data platforms in production.
• Domain Expertise: Experience in at least one: Network Security, Threat Detection & Response, Security Analytics, or Industrial/Medical protocols.
• Cloud-Native Stack: Strong background with modern cloud architecture (Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark/ClickHouse, CI/CD).
• AI-Assisted Development: Proficiency in utilizing AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot) to accelerate engineering workflows, code generation, and problem-solving.
• Communication: Strong executive communication skills with the ability to bridge roadmap strategy and deep technical design.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have):

• Hands-on experience building and operating production LLM applications, agentic workflows, or natural-language interfaces.
• Experience with network enforcement integrations (Firewalls, NAC) or detection stacks (IDS, MITRE ATT&CK, SOAR).
• Background in cybersecurity or critical infrastructure environments
